| Carson Beckett is a Scottish medical doctor working on the Atlantis branch of the Stargate Program, a secret organisation comprising about a dozen of the world's countries' best and brightest. Currently, he is working as Head of Medicine/Chief Surgeon on the Atlantis base on the planet of Lantea in the Pegasus galaxy. He has the ATA (or Ancient) gene naturally, and worked on a gene therapy to give it artificially to others. Of course, this is all on a need-to-know-basis... Carson enjoys fishing. He doesn't enjoy being asked to use strange new Ancient technology, ESPECIALLY drone chairs, thank you very much Rodney McKay. More time than he'd like is spent tending to Lt. Colonel John Sheppard and his team, who have a knack for getting into the worst scrapes possible. Ah well, that's life. |
